Denver Arts Week 2009 | Vacation Rentals By Owner Deals

Next week marks the third annual Denver Arts Week, November 6 – 14th. Featuring more than 200 “art-centric” activities throughout the city, this is one of the premier Denver events celebrating the thriving Denver arts scene. The goal of this family-friendly event is to showcase the varied cultural arts the Mile-high city has to offer and make them accessible to everyone. .
As a whole, the Denver community supports a wide body of phenomenal artists and venues. During Denver Arts Week , special events will occur at the various galleries, museums, studio and Denver theater throughout the city. The week will kick-off with a special “First Friday” art walk in six neighborhoods. In addition, eleven museums city-wide will be open late on Saturday, many offering free admission.
In a show of support, several some Denver hotels are offering special rates and many Denver restaurants will feature exhibits and artistically inspired menu items . Denver Arts Week is also done in conjunction with the Starz film festival each year. For more information, visit the Denver Arts Week web site .
